APC-FRANCE was established in 2001. Meanwhile, the similar name of the organization, Association for the Protection of the Children-Nepal (APC-NEPAL), was created by Lafoux in 2006. APC-France was the regular donor agency of APC-NEPAL since its inception from 2006 to 2022. In 2022, the agreement between APCN & APCF has been accomplished and has not been renewed, as a result, the project with APC-NEPAL was closed.
Similarly, after the departure from APCN, a group of staffs serving over decade of their service at APC-Nepal & working closing with late dr. Herve lafoux (in past when he stayed at Nepal & worked as representative of APCF), took initiation to bring project through an organization named Child Welfare Nepal (CWN) in order to serve & continue the support to the same needy students whose support has been stopped through APCN due to closure of project between APCN & APCF. Hence, CWN is the organization establish in memory of Dr. Herve Lafoux & continue all the project and program activities related to school support program which was operated by APC-Nepal before.
