School supplies, backpacks, and uniforms are provided annually to each child supported by CWN under the Prevention and Sponsorship Program.
APC-FRANCE plays a key role in the annual funding of the distribution program.
As a part of the Educational Care program, Child Welfare Nepal distributed essential school supplies to 140 supported beneficiaries from grades 1 to 12 (high school).
CWN distributed notebooks, pens, calculators, and other stationery items to the 155 children along with a school bag and shoes. Not only that, but CWN also distributes regular school dress/uniform to all the children yearly. Having the right tools for school is essential to a child’s academic success.
The School Supplies Distribution Event (2026) was held on 14 June 2026, at Shanti Nikunja Secondary School, where the school area is spacious for the event. The impact of the school supplies distribution has been profound. Parents and community members have expressed their gratitude for the support provided by Child Welfare Nepal. The school supplies distribution project has relieved the children and families of financial strain of purchasing these items, allowing them to focus on other needs. This support has fostered a stronger sense of community around the school, with everyone working together to ensure the students have the best possible education.
