The National Examinations Board (NEB) on 11 May 2026 published the results of this year’s Secondary Education Examinations (SEE), held from April 2 to April 12.
SEE is famed as the “IRON GATE” to students before joining higher-level education (+2) in NEPAL.
A total of 65.98 per cent of students secured grades and qualified for further studies, marking a rise from last year’s 61.81 percent. According to the board, 284,160 students passed the examination, while 146,507 were placed in the non-graded category.
Generally, SEE results were made public around the third week of June. This year, the results were published within a month, significantly earlier than in previous years.
Subsequently, on 15 May 2026, CWN organized a career counseling and interaction program to ensure that SEE graduates (11 supported students this year) were aware of their further study options.
The program was organized from 11:30 PM to 2 PM.
The vast inquiries, table talk, and focus group discussions were discussed among the graduates.
Every student opined on their further planning and studies, highlighting their choice of the course and college.
Subsequently, the program was chaired by Executive Director (Raju Khadka), along with facilitation from Finance Head (Anima Khadka), Program Coordinator (Amrit Karki), and Program Associate (Indira Kunwar). Each staff member shared their academic journey from schooling to high school so that the children can receive the required knowledge.
The CWN fraternity gave an insight into the +2 courses available for highlighting various entrance examinations and how to prepare for them as well.
We emphasized the importance of pursuing an appropriate course in +2, which plays a pivotal role in shaping the future growth and development of students during the session.
The career counseling and interaction program organized by CWN provided a valuable platform for these students to
explore their future academic paths and receive guidance tailored to their aspirations. CWN remains committed to supporting them, ensuring they have the resources and knowledge needed to succeed in their further studies.
With insightful discussions led by experienced staff and comprehensive information on +2 courses, entrance exams, and future career paths, the students were well-equipped to make informed decisions about their academic and professional futures. The diverse aspirations of the students, ranging from studying abroad to pursuing nursing and government employment, were thoroughly explored, ensuring each student received personalized advice to navigate their unique journeys ahead.
