SEN-NHI ACTIVITY PROJECT 2023

SEN-NHI Team from Nantes, France who were medical volunteers arrived in Nepal on 13 June, for medical activity project. Their aim project was regarding Mensuration, WASH, First-Aid and Addiction course. Shanti Nikunja School, Bidyodaya Basic School, Rastriya Basic School, Neel Barahi School, Kumari Secondary School and Jubilant School of Kathmandu district and Shree Khadadevi School and Kuseshwor Higher Secondary School of Ramechhap district were selected for the activity project. CWN facilitated SEN NHI students for their activities such as translation and management of the program.

Mensuration was provided to girls of all school of grade 7/8 while WASH program was provided to young pupils for class 1 and 2 whereas First-Aid and Addiction program was provided to grade 9/10 students. The SEN-NHI group also went to Bethan, Ramechhap district for the same purpose.

They handover mensuration pad for all girls who attended the class and towel/soap/toothpaste and toothbrush to all students who attended WASH program.

In overall, around 300-400 pupils were benefitted from the activity project organized by SEN-NHI medical volunteers different schools
of Kathmandu and Ramechhap district. Similarly, the group also distributed grocery materials to 21 vulnerable, needy and poor families on 21st July, 2023. A sack of rice, one kilo cereals, 1 KG sugar and 1 packet of salt was provided to each family.
