Stationaries material distribution program at shree mallika ma. vi. dated 9 September 2026

Mallika Madhyamik Secondary School is a remote school located in Dui Pipal, Ward 6, Nuwakot District, with a total of 200 students enrolled. As CWN had provided stationery materials to the students in the same ward previously, this time we approached another school for the distribution program. For that, we visited the school on 17 August to carry out the baseline survey and feasibility study and had a meeting with Mr. Keshab Prasad Baskota, principal of the school.
The principal stated that there are approximately 200 students enrolled in the school. During the interaction, the principal reiterated that the students had just finished their 1st terminal examination, and the school is closed until 16 August. The result publishing task is in progress. Similarly, Mr. Raju Khadka explained CWN and its mission, vision, and goals, and how the organization is leading the scholarship project for vulnerable, marginalized, and disadvantaged children, where the organization is supporting more than 150 children as part of the full educational support (paying admission, monthly and exam fees, distribution of uniforms, bags, shoes, and stationery) to the children. Moreover, the principal welcomed our support (distributing the stationery) to the school children; however, he remarked that the students have access to stationery and books. He requested us to distribute school uniforms, bags, or shoes for the students instead of stationery. In the meantime, we appealed to the principal that CWN will support the needed materials next time (uniforms, bags, and shoes).
As this is the first project partnership between the two bodies, CWN will further strengthen the needs of the school, Mr. Raju committed.

On the other hand, the welcome program was chaired by Mr. Keshav Baskota, principal of the school. The principal reiterated that he was delighted that CWN provided a large amount of support to the school children. Likewise, the school teacher also expressed their sincere gratitude towards CWN for supporting the students with stationery. Moreover, CWN provided school notebook/copies, pens, and pencils to around 200 students on 9 September 2026. The program commenced after a formal speech presented by Mr. Raju Khadka, Executive Director of CWN. Khadka’s speech was about a brief introduction to CWN and how the organization is helping the children by providing quality education to transform the lives of those children. The video posted on the Facebook page of the distribution program has reached more than 1.3K views. The copies, pen, and pencils will last for six months, said one of the students. It will ease our educational burden, as our parents were not able to provide us with sufficient notebooks, said another student of the school. In conclusion, all the students expressed sincere gratitude towards CWN for providing them with the resourceful means.
