CWN organized a tour as part of religious education for the students supported by CWN on 10 April 2026 to Saanga Mahadevsthan, located in the Kavrepalanchok district, Bagmati Province, Nepal. Around 31 students and five staff members attended the religious tour. A bus (BA 4 KHA 4232) was hired for the whole day (pick up and drop off) service from Paropakar-20, KMC to Saanga (Kavre). The bus departed at 11 AM, and we reached Saanga at 12:30 PM. After a 10-minute walk from the bus stop, we reached the Mahadev statue. During the tour, children aged The children inspected the statue, the gardens, and the pleasant environment, which is hassle-free from the hustle and bustle lifestyle of Kathmandu. After a one-hour visit, all the children were provided with snacks & cold drinks. After finishing it, the children danced and enjoyed the music and rhythms. Similarly, the children were taken to a nearby restaurant to relax, and they were treated to the delicious Khaaja (mid-afternoon meal). After finishing a delicious afternoon meal, we departed for KTM and arrived at 6 PM at Paropakar.
The visit to the religious tour to Saanga is a part of exploring historical and religious knowledge for all the participants.
